the hills won monday night

After some warm up hills through neighborhoods to Ida, Eric, Brian, and I headed west. The hills felt long and worked us over well. Second day on road hills for me and my legs were shot riding home from the shop. But it was good to ride outside in the fresh, seasonally warm air!

I got on the scale the next day, gained a couple pounds and lost 1 percent of body fat - even trade. So the fat was traded for muscle. Encouraging that back to back days on hills made a measurable difference to go along with the perceived tiredness in the legs.
