Parked at the green trail. Started down the singletrack and took a wrong turn about 100 yds from the parking lot intersecting some doubletracks. (my bad, a marker was up ahead about 30 feet). The trail was marked well.

After pushing back up the hill, I went to the car and installed my 21t cog. The 36x21 was a good gear.

Rode green clockwise which caused some walking but I would have walked some ttfs ccw as well.

Then rode orange to blue to yellow to red and the short 4 mile loop and returned to the parking lot. It was about 1.5 hours from green to red parking lot each way.

Blue and Orange were more rideable ccw but I still had ttfs to walk.

Lots of leaves but not to many surprises. Coming back, I knew how far to go and put more energy into riding stuff I would have walked to save energy. Felt good to stand and climb up and over stuff.

My quads were cramping towards the end and the grey overcast sky with sprinkles made the trail a little hard to see as I got back to the car at 16:45. 5 hours of riding and when driving out it started to rain well.

Winding roads and country music helped me adapt to the local culture. Stopped at el tres amigos in Mountain View for refueling before the 2 hr drive back to the family in Branson. They spent the day at Silver Dollar City. Everyone had a great day!
