Rox and I are planning to head to Norfolk Fri night after work and stay in a hotel room. We'll likely have an extra bed, and some room on the floor with thermarests if you're interested. It'll make for a relaxing race day morn, with a good sit down breakfast and plenty of time to stretch and warm up. I'm thinking A-ron is a solid bet too! Not so sure about Matheson though.
On further contemplation, Roxy, Josh -u -ahhh, and Bob B. should excell for Team Green barring mechanicals. Brian Logan has been ripping it up lately too and could pull off a win early in the day. Can the unsuspended and aging Dale endure the certain pounding he will sustain and hold off the much younger, hard charging and front suspended Tim Wieland in the SS class?
The real wild card in the whole folly will be R.F. Can he swear off alcohol and fat food for Friday night and Saturday morning and shock everyone with a blistering ride, or will he just end up with blisters while belching beer foam? Can he stay clean for 24 hours or should he be tested?
I will wait till RF is wearing yellow then kick him out of the club!
But then if we tested 1by9, I'm sure something in his cocktail of meds counts as doping!
Team Green is doing very well in the rankings, and even those who are further down, as long as they are having a good time, are doing well too.
With the heat and trail, I plan on running a 32x22, spin, and not go anerobic. Tim had 7 minutes on me at Manawa. Hopefully, I'll give him a closer race at Muskenthine.
by the way Dale was riding on wed night, I think Wieland has a lot to worry about.
Todd,Harley & myself are driving up friday afternoon to ride a lap.
