From Mike Resetar... Tony is one of the guys that started THOR, and a friend who helped get me into biking. Tony used to make me ride all over the place when I could barely finish a beginner course.

FYI - Shim and I are planning an informal meet, ride, and eat on Sunday Aug 26th to remember our brother's passing (actually Aug 11, 2002). Just a group of friends getting together to have a good time. Thanks Shim for planting the idea!
We are going to meet at Manawa, ride to LNC via paved trails, "chill" at the bench, and then head back to Manawa to share memories and food. Its BYOB and BYOF. We will have a grill going. Join us if and where you can.
Meet at Manawa 1:00 pm.
Ride to LNC main parking lot/flag pole, arrive approximately 1:45pm to 2:00pm.
Meet at Tony's Bench at 2:00pm.
Meet back at Manawa for a cookout at 4:00pm. (we will try to get a shelter, but will initially meet at the River Ramp/mtb bike trails parking lot, look for sign/directions at the kiosk).
We would love to have you along. Feel free to pass the word as you all see fit. I tried to go through and hit some of the main folks in my address book, however I am sure I missed a few and other's emails have changed. There is no real need to respond unless you have questions. Bring enough food for yourself and maybe a bit to share. We are going to keep it simple.
Tony always had a way of bringing us together, his legacy lives on.......

I never met Tony but have read and heard stories about him. This is a chance to see some of the old guard get together, hear some of the old stories, and ride some of Tony's trails.
I'm thinking about riding mary, bringing bob with a cooler, and going straight to L&C, then Manawa, and back home.
