From an Omaha Pedalers Bicycle Club email:
Cyclists—Time to Get Outdoors and Ride
With warmer weather just around the corner, Omaha area cyclists are
anxious to get on their bikes. The Omaha Pedalers Bicycle Club is sponsoring an
exciting cycling adventure film that will make winter-bound cyclists want to
get off their trainers, out of the gym and get outside and ride. “Reveal the
Path,” will be coming to the Aksarben Cinema in Omaha on Thursday,
February 21st at 6 p.m.
Presented by Salsa Cycles,
the full-length “Reveal the Path” feature
filmed on four continents is a visually stunning adventure documentary that
will ignite the dreamer in everyone. The film
explores Europe’s
snow-capped mountains, Scotland’s lush valleys, Alaska’s rugged coastal
beaches, Nepal’s elevated wonders and Morocco’s high desert landscapes.
The screening will be preceded by a social hour with almost all local
bike stores represented as well as charity rides like the OwL Ride and Multiple
Sclerosis and Diabetes Society. Experts
from Omaha Planning, Omaha Bikes, RDG and others will be available to update
cyclists on new trail and bike lanes and assist in helping bike commuters
navigate the best route to work.
