Brian and Eric joined me tonight for a very enjoyable ride. Fortunately, we were at the upper end of the teens so only 8 degrees colder than last Monday. A little wind on the south side but very tolerable.
We were not first bike tracks, probably 2-4 bike already out there. About a handful or so of drifts requiring walking, a lot of bare dirt on south side and bare/snow covered tread in woods. We took an hour to complete one lap.
I would encourage others to get out there and ride before it gets much sunshine or closer to freezing and solidifies. The snow is still pretty crystalized and easy to ride through. Only about 1-2 inches consistently on the north side, it doesn't get much easier than this to ride in snow. Great for dusting off or developing the snow riding skills.
