Rude awakening for taking the corporate commuter challenge.
See details on OmahaBikes.
No description on how it was secured.
Don't let your guard down securing your bike. Evaluate your security:
- thin cable stops spur of moment, but not someone with intent and leatherman or serrated knife. Lightest to carry and quick to lock.
- thick cable takes more time to saw or bigger cable cutter. Able to lock multiple bikes or secure to larger stationary objects.
- ulock are more secure but usually limited to one bike and smaller securing objects.
When I go to Bakers, etc., I ride the bike into the store and park by the starbucks. If store has issues, tell them you will park outside when they install secure bike parking racks.
