Honeymoon Riding

Sorry friends, wish I could've brought back some of southern sierra weather I experienced last week. Rox & I were out riding around Kernville, CA for 5 days on a guided tour by Hermosa. Wow what a blast... ride, eat, relax, repeat... a perfect week with the new wife! We literally had rides that were downhill for hours, like the Cannell trail. That ride started at 9400ft and finished at 2500ft! I don't think I could've picked a better bike than my Giant Trance X with 140mm fork. Although sometimes I was daydreaming of a full on downhill bike.
Here's a photo montage from one of our guides.

Way cool. I thought it was funny that one of your ride partners rode in a skirt. Looks like she went over the bars in on of the pictures. She was out of the frame, but her rear wheel was up in the air.

Glad you made it back safely, with only a little bit of blood loast.

BTW... We hada splendid time at the wedding. Keli was really impressed by the attention to detail in the decorations and planning. Well done Rox (because we all know who is detail oriented in your newly formed family) ;-).

Glad Bob posted. I didn't see the comments link before that.

Excellent Adventure, Dudes! Those bloody knees look like the same picture at the reception. Maybe some knee pads from Santa are in order? 8-)

Ditto on the wedding. That was one of the most artistic weddings I've been to. And the Ponca setting and banquet room were just right!

She did go over the bars, good catch. You'll notice in the photos, she got right back up and did it again and cleaned the landing.
