We had 175 racers (147 for medals, 11 first timers, and 17 kids) come out in the very hot weather to race in the TTT. This happened because of the volunteers who maintain and improve the trail, talk up the race other riders at tp, and help with race day jobs. The racers who are increasing are the first timers and cat 3 - hopefully bringing new (and not so new) blood into racing! We had a 61 year old first timer finish!
Thanks again for those who helped around their race and those who didn't race and helped where needed all day.
We are looking at taking the profits, combine with money from THOR, and buy a riding lawn mower for trail maintenance.
I would also like to have a cookout/get together with the volunteers. I am open to someone heading this up or helping me organize it and solicit suggestions on when, where, food, drinks, etc.

It was a great race. I knew there were alot of people there, but 175 wow. Is that more than the swanson race? riding lawn mower hmm sounds great. the last trail day went so well with riding mowers there! cook out sounds good when where etc.
