mnr ready to ride
Another fun ride at Tranquility. Nice pace with several regroupings. Nick rode with us for the first time. Only his 2nd or 3rd time at Tranquility, and no motorcycle background, he rode very well. Some of us were feeling rides from Sunday, while Dave was feeling from Monday, having rode two laps before the rest of us started. Most did a lap or two. Chris #3 stepped it up staying in the middle ring much more and climbing short hills out of the saddle. And Greg rode the camelback (southhill blue section) for the first time. Great job you all!
BTW, someone stopped the other day and said he rode the camelback for the first time. He thought they were so bad-*ssed, he looped around and rode them three times in a row. He had not tried them before because he thought it bypassed the ice loop. That blue section contains the most difficult ttfs (technical trail features) in Tranquility, then drops you back onto the ice loop. Give them a look-see, you can always get off your bike if it's beyond your comfort level.
