Devan's impressions of nationals

The trip to Colorado was definitely something else, the coarse by far the hardest i have ever been on, makes Louis and Clark look like a taco ride, it had more climbing and basically everything was rocky, the start had a killer climb for about a mile and a half and the technical side of it was nothing to take for granted, i had to use all the skills i have learned and even that wasn't enough there was an area i biffed every time i went into that killer decent. The atmosphere was so amazing, so many people doing the same thing i love to do from weekend warriors to high school teams all the way to the pro's. Instead of there being around 150 racers there was 1,500 of all different types. There are the lean XC racers, the skilled 4X racers, and the big bulky downhill guys it was just an all around awesome experience and now i know why i love this sport. I did end up pulling out a third place finish and got on the podium at nationals! so all an all it was a pretty killer trip.
