Had a successful trailwork day at tp yesterday. See the THOR blog for report and pics. The trail is now officially open!
Quick review of IMBA rules of the trail:
1. Ride on open trails only.
2. Leave no trace.
3. Control your bicycle.
4. Always yield trail.
5. Never scare animals.
6. Plan ahead.
There are a couple wet spots in the North Loop and the Fort Street Loop but they were drying out yesterday. If you encounter soft tread, try to ride it. If everyone keeps going wide for drier dirt, the tread doesn't stay a singletrack.
Ride tonight. Some are meeting at the kiosk off Fort Street at 5 p.m. I will also leave the Bike Masters at 6 if you want to park there.
Hopefully the rain will hold off till later tonight or tomorrow.
