I stopped by the shop this morning to have Dan help me finish up the last few items on the Adopt-A-Bike project. Other than a bit more cleanup, the bike is done. I thought you might be interested in seeing how it turned out.
I would also like to thank the following people for their help:
Dan Hill(Wrenching, cassette, shifters, cables, cable housing, advice) Dave Kennedy (Mavic Cosmic Pro wheelset, tubes, along with tires and a seat post for the Community Bike Shop) Roxzanne Abbot (Tires, and a massive quantity of wheels/tires that were donated to the Community Bike Shop) Scott Terry (Bar Tape) Udo Gruber (Seat, seat post, pedals)
This bike, along with several other "fixer-up" bikes and many other bike related items, will be auctioned off on August 15th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
If you have never visited the Community Bike Shop of Omaha, they are hosting the Gifford Park Bike Night, to celebrate the "National Night Out", tonight from 5:00 till 8:00pm.
The Community Bike Shop of Omaha is located on 33rd and California.
Thanks again to everyone at Bike Masters and all the members of the Bike Masters Cycling Club that helped get this bike ready. If you want to add this bike to YOUR stable, be sure to attend the silent auction on Friday, August 15th and put in a bid.
Thanks Bob for heading this up and making it happen! Thanks to Dan, Dave, Roxz, Scott, and Udo for the donations!
Getting people on bikes for recreation and commuting, teaching bike skills, encouraging the community bike shop, and more will be accomplished through these donations!

You guys did a great job with that bike.
I can not wait to bid on a bike.
Is that bike by chance a 55 to 57 cm. Oh Man.
actually, I never measured it.
I rode around a bit to/from my car. It didn't feel too small for me, but definitely not too big.
I dropped it off at the Community Bike Shop last night.
