Interesting Idea. I think I'll wait on that flip for now. I'm currently having fun rebuilding hubs and BB's. This one has a BB with actual BB's instead of a cartridge like the newer stuff.
Rear hub was rebuilt yesterday. I'll need to swing by the show to use the special tools to crack open the BB though.
Sweet looking bike, wish it would fit me (and I really needed another bike). Your choice of gearing did inspire me to gear my Roger up to 48:20 (up from 36:16), which sped my commute and seems manageable so far (commuted yesterday and rode Tranquility with Dale and co.)
Just keep in mind that I'm only riding this on cement and mostly the keystone at that. A heavy headwind can bog me down to the discomfort zone with that gearing.

Look forward to seeing you race it tomarrow
You just keep looking. I'll stick to my fat tire SS for dirt.
See ya there.
Nice build, Bob! I see the start of a new tv series: "Bob's Flip This Bike"

I couldn't ride dirt with that gearing.
