Weed Wackers Welcome and Wanted

Hey all, if anyone should so desire we would greatly appreciate any help anytime weed wacking sections of the rerouting that has been mowed already at Tranquility. Dale took the level of grass down very low last week on the big climb and it shows. There currently is a long section along the gravel road on the East end or the park that I mowed Sunday but was unable to get low enough because of wet conditions. Also please feel free to help smooth out the existing new trail where you see fit. Shovels, hoes, and fingernails are all welcome. A smoother Tranquility is a happier Tranquility.

The bad news is that Steve Pederson may be taking over as Trail Director at Tranquility and is wanting to fire the entire existing staff!

Come on Doug, Pederson would wait till the end of trail building season before he fired the crew.

I will be out there sometime this weekend to do some triming or smoothing, if the rain ever stops.

Trails on the hill just west of the soccer field got wacked Saturday afternoon. Doug pointed out a berm section that I trimmed to open it up to handle more speed.

I did some leveling with my old rusty garden hoe. This obviously ain't the sharpest tool in my shed. After seeing Doug's hula-ho in action I think I'll replace it.
