At the start of the Monday night ride, we found this tree down. We checked the rest of the course and then Greg rode home to get his chainsaw. This was with a heat index around 105. My camera exagerates the steam in the air but it felt pretty close to a steam room. Greg, Doug, Robert, and I cleared the trail. Saw a couple other riders out swimming through the air that night as well.
Thanks for all the hard work guys, it is very much appreciated!
After having a baby, riding to get the chainsaw in 105 degree heat was probly nothing.
By the way Greg, congrats to you and the family..
